Steeple Aston Parish Council
Steeple Aston has its own Parish Council which deals with local issues such as highways, traffic, housing, rights of way and street lighting. It also erects and maintains facilities in the village such as seats, bus shelters and the war memorial.

Middle Aston doesn’t have a parish council, but holds its own parish meeting once a year.

District Council
The district council for both villages is Cherwell District Council. It collects our council tax, and provides many services such as refuse collection, street cleansing, homelessness, planning, sports and recreation.
There are two district councillors for the village. Councillor James Macnamara and Councillor Luke Annaly are both Conservatives and represent The Astons & Heyfords ward. Their contact details are below.
